If you read the title of this post, you might think I’m going crazy – either I don’t know what season it is, or I’ve decided that a law degree just isn’t enough. Don’t worry; it’s neither. But yesterday I spent the day getting my first CLE (Continuing Legal Education) credits, so I decided to get back in touch with my old student wardrobe. Jeans were a no-brainer, and I also used to wear the heck out of this jacket. Throw in an overpriced, greasy lunch (yep, did that too) and it’s just like I’m back in law school.

Flashback Friday: A few ways I wore this jacket in law school…

Ann Taylor says these are jeans, and they do feel like jeans, but they don’t really look like jeans, even up close. They kind of just look like fun, printed, slim-leg cotton pants. Therefore I decided it was perfectly acceptable to wear them on a non-jeans Friday. I like to live on the edge like that. But not the edge of a roof or a cliff or something. More like the edge of, say, the average front porch step. What can I say, we lawyers are a risk-averse bunch.
