For as much as I love mint green, and for as much as I love pointy-toed pumps, it took me an inexcusably long time to get mint green pointy-toed pumps. The problem was that last year I fell in love with a pair of Alice + Olivia mint pumps (they were this style), but they were $300. I couldn’t even justify that purchase now that I have a paycheck, much less a year ago when I was still a student.

But once I had seen the Alice + Olivia pumps, every other pair of mint pumps I found just looked like a steaming pile of dog shit, if the dog had just eaten a gallon of mint chocolate chip ice cream. Finally, I found these at Macy’s that were in my price range and looked remarkably like my long lost lovers! Same faux-snake skin texture and everything. Me and my mint green pointy-toed pumps: together at last.
