It’s not often that I’m in the mood to rock a short skirt. And this is about as short as my skirts get. Short skirts make me a tiny bit self-conscious. It’s not really a body image thing – I mean, my legs aren’t spectacular or anything, but I have no complaints. I have two of them. They work most of the time. What more can I ask for? We can’t all be Gisele. My self-consciousness is more of an irrational fear that my butt cheeks are hanging out or that someone will see my underwear or (more likely) that I’m flashing some cellulite. But for whatever reason, weekend before last we were heading out for a date night and I felt like strutting my stuff in a mini. And not only did I wear a short skirt, I wore all black. Who am I?? A leggy, classy broad, that’s who.
