I’ve always been nervous about public speaking, and since working from home, I’ve discovered that I’m still nervous about public speaking even when it’s in the privacy of my own home. Oh well. But on the bright side, when I have to present on a webinar, it gives me an excuse to wear my signature bold lip.

One day, I will actually have to go back to working in an office, eating out, and going to do things outside my home on a regular basis. I assume. Most likely. I can’t decide if I’m excited to go back to my more dressed up style, or if I’ll miss my casual work-from-home loungey look. Probably a little of both. I suppose time will tell, if I survive the apocalypse.

I really liked this outfit – definitely not something I would or could wear to the office. (I think we’re still a few decades away from shorts being appropriate at a law firm.) I felt like I was pulling off that Parisienne not-trying-too-hard vibe I’m always striving for, but only sometimes accomplishing. I have a feeling I will have more time to perfect my je ne sais quoi from home.
