I warned you that you’d be seeing a lot of these boots! I love how they add an edge to all my more feminine dresses and skirts.

I’ll be sporting my democrat blue for Election Day, but I’m sharing this red outfit just to prove I’m open-minded and non-judgmental (mostly). 😉

No matter who wins, just remember that everything’s temporary, and wine exists.

Behold: What I wore for what may have been my last patio dining (and therefore last restaurant dining because I’m not down with the indoor thing) experience for quite some time. If you’re in a colder climate like I am, get comfy, because we’re probably not going to get out much for awhile. I foresee many nights at home drinking wine and reading books (check out what I’ve been reading here).

We’ve been preparing for a mostly at-home winter by doing some home projects to make our little bungalow feel more inviting and less like a tiny brick prison devoid of friends and sunshine. It’s fine everything’s going to be fine. Check back with me in January, but for now, I’m cautiously optimistic.

Speaking of at-home entertainment, what’s everyone been streaming these days? We binged The Queen’s Gambit on Netflix over the past few days. It’s about a girl who becomes a chess prodigy in the 1960s. I know absolutely nothing about chess but it’s still very entertaining, and I live for the 60s fashion.
