The most prevalent pattern in my closet is – by far – stripes. But polka dots are giving stripes a run for their money these days. I do already have a couple dotted dresses, but as Kristin pointed out, this one is cool because it’s a non-structured pattern. So if you’re in to chaos theory and cute frocks, this might be your jam. Of course, now I discover this dress is sold out online, but I found some other really cool options, linked below! If you’re feeling extra chaotic, you could just close your eyes and pick one.

I like to keep my hair blond so I look sweet and angelic. It makes it more impactful and surprising when I drop some sarcasm. Cute floral dresses help too. I tend to have a pretty surly expression most of the time, so without these measures I would probably look and sound like a serial killer. Which I’m not. (Or am I???)

Speaking of jokes about murder, if you’re the kind of person who doesn’t find that completely inappropriate, you should probably be listening to the podcast My Favorite Murder. It’s been around for about a year now, so if you start at the beginning you’ll have commute entertainment for weeks! You can thank me later. Unless you dislike true crime, the F word, and women who go on tangential rants about the patriarchy…then you probably won’t thank me.
