A couple weeks ago I was invited to a Shabbat dinner – my first ever! I’m not Jewish, nor do I love having to make small talk with people I don’t know, but I do love Challah bread, so…worth it. I actually had a really nice time and felt quite honored that the host (a rabbi) would welcome a heathen like me to take part in her traditions. Also, did I mention the Challah bread?! This one goes out to all my Jewish readers – Shabbat shalom! (I know it’s the wrong day, but give me a break, I’m new here.)
