When: Saturday before last // Weather: warm and rainy, then warm and sunny // Real life: Broad Ripple Art Fair
So I guess this is my version of a Coachella style post. I wore this to a festival and got muddy (as you can see from my poor shoes), which is about as close as I’ll get.
I have zero interest in ever going to Coachella – I think I’ll stick to the smaller but still fun Indiana festivals. The people might be older and fatter, but at least they’re mostly fully clothed. This is what I wore to an art festival in my neighborhood. I wasn’t a big fan of the mud factor, but it poured down rain all day, and then suddenly the sun came out so we took advantage of it. I had my umbrella in case it rained again, but I ended up using it to protect my oh-so-delicate white skin from UV rays because I forgot sunscreen. Not gonna lie, I felt very chic with my yellow parasol. I think parasols need to make a comeback!
