I’m finally coming to peace with blogging in the winter in the Midwest. I used to torture myself taking tripod photos on the way to work in the morning when it was 20 degrees (or less). I used to stress about changing my schedule to make up for the limited daylight. I used to write down every detail of what I wore on days I couldn’t take photos, and then recreate on the weekend and bribe Kristin to go out in the cold. NO MORE, friends. This is Sarah’s Real Life, and Sarah is busy and doesn’t like frostbite. Instead, I’ve been using Instagram to capture my favorite bits and pieces of my favorite outfits when doing a full shoot just isn’t in the cards.

similar Dress // Turtleneck (perfect for layering!) // similar Watch
Now that the 90s are back in style, I figure I can layer thin shirts under spaghetti strap tops and dresses. Don’t try to argue with me.
similar Shoes (c/o Shopbop) // Tee (my favorite!) // similar Jacket
Remember my “once a year” tee? When I was in New York over Thanksgiving, I went to Club Monaco on Black Friday and discovered they still make the same style in that almost-falling-apart-it’s-so-soft fabric, so I bought two more! Now I can wear my favorite tee 3 times a year 🙂

Here’s to few more weeks of staying warm whenever I can!
(Editor’s note: I went back and read the old post I linked to about the t-shirt, and in that old post I make reference to “when Hillary’s president.” Insert 1,000 crying emoji here.)
Oh, the end of your post–makes me want to cry too.:(. On a happier note, I received my Womens March t-shirt yesterday for my state’s March so that made me feel better! I enjoy your blog & your attitude! Stay Warm!
Awesommmmmme! Have fun! #girlpower
