Not my best work, folks. I don’t know if it was a bad hair day or I was bloated but I look pretty sloppy up there. I didn’t realize it until I looked at these photos and I almost didn’t want to post them, but then Kristin was all “it’s Sarah’s Real Life!” I hate it when she’s right.
So if any of you follow style blogs and feel discouraged that you don’t look that put-together everyday, don’t worry. No one does. Thank goodness for brave heroes like myself who are willing to put an only partially edited version of their lives on the interwebs. You’re welcome, world.

This is actually much better than MEH. The proportions are very proper. It is is not easy to wear a circle skirt. The wide structured waist band eliminates any need for a belt. the jacket proportion is perfect and the top puts it together well. The clutch is wonderful but the shoes are the Piece De Resistance !!! or however you say it. Blogs are good to show people how to style pieces that may not be easy to style, this post does that. And it is done well. Bravo.
I scrolled through the photos thinking, this is maybe my favorite outfit post I’ve seen on Sarah’s blog, she’s really killing it! and immediately started thinking of how I could recreate it in my wardrobe. Then read the commentary about how you felt about it. I think you look awesome! Really confirms how different our self perception can be from others. 🙂
