I have so many flared and shift dresses and not a lot of fitted, pencil dresses. Maybe I should have more of the latter. I hate to speak in fashion clichés, but a great-fitting pencil dress makes you look chic without even trying. I know, I know, I hate myself a little bit for saying that too. But as it turns out, it’s true. I cannot emphasize how little thought I put into this outfit (compared to my normal efforts, anyway) and I think I look pretty awesome. Even against this lame background. That’s another thing about great-fitting pencil dresses: they make you look good when you’re standing next to ugly gray siding. There, now I’ve given you a non-cliché style tip. My work here is done.

That’s an amazing dress, it looks great on you. Can you tell us what brand it is? Love the neckline.
The brand is Noir. I couldn’t find it online!
Wow, gorgeous dress – I like how the ruching adds some interest and enhances the figure flattery of the cut. The bright accessories are well-chosen too!
SO chic! And so tiny!! Those Pure Barre classes are working (not that you weren’t tiny before, but you know what I mean…LTB!)
