I generally pay more attention to my bottom layer than my top layer in the winter. Basically I come up with a cute outfit, and then I ruin it by piling on lots of warm things that don’t always go well together. But on this particular day, everything kinda worked out. Even with three prints, it looked like I did this on purpose.

I mean…I DID do this on purpose. Because I’m a fashion blogger and I totally know what I’m doing.

  1. Great pattern mixing! I used to see women go to work in heels when it snowed and wondered how they managed. I used to slide around the pavement in my boots as if they were ice skates!
I just bought a pair of leopard print heels, so I’m excited to try them with my olive trousers now.

    1. No way, that would ruin it!! I bring a change of boots if I’m going to be walking much. But I suffer through for blog photos just for you guys 🙂

  2. I love those patterns together. Especially the scarf and shoes.

I have a style question for an expert shopper. My friend is getting married and is letting the bridesmaids get our dresses from anywhere, as long as they are silk chiffon and are in the blush/nude family, including pale purples and pinks. So far I’ve looked (online) at Nordstrom, Lord and Taylor, J Crew and David’s Bridal but haven’t been blown away. Any suggestions on where else to look?

    1. Fun, we did the same thing for our bridesmaids too! Have you tried Anthropologie? Also, I don’t know how soon you need to find something, but if you wait a few more weeks you’ll probably see more and more blush dresses showing up in stores for spring!

      1. It’s not until September. Good call on the season. That’s probably why the selection is so limited. And I love Anthropologie. Thank you!
