Winterize: you can do it to your car, and you can do it to your clothes. The former is a practical, grown-up thing to do, but like most practical, grown-up things, it’s totally lame and boring. So we’ll skip it. The latter is the fun one because it involves wearing clothes. I’m super good at wearing clothes. I practice almost every day.
I got this amazing t-shirt with rainbow carousel animals over the summer (let me say it again: RAINBOW. CAROUSEL ANIMALS. AMAZING.) and wore it quite a few times (see below). I saw no reason to put this baby into hibernation. All I had to do to winterize was add about 17 more layers. Tank underneath, sweater on top, tights, socks, jeans, boots, and (not pictured) a scarf, puffy coat, and ear muffs. Yeah, it’s pretty damn cold here. I actually took these photos the day before I wore the outfit because it was a comfortable 37 degrees, compared to the bone-chilling 5 degrees the next day.
January really puts things into perspective. Oh, and according to this article, I am allowed to complain about the cold. So I will continue to do so.
similar Shirt (horse print) // another similar Shirt (multi-color dot) // similar Sweater (on sale) // similar Necklace // similar Boots (on sale) // Bag (under $25) // Nails “Oui” // Lips (mine is a custom color from Bite Lip Lab, but try Cin Cin)
It is amazing!! Love it with the skirt and the white jeans! I started doing a DIY of that necklace, so I will show it to you once it is finished!
Love the shirt, and the house in the background, it is adorable! Is it yours?

Haha no, not my house! Not really anyone’s house, actually. I guess it was someone’s house once upon a time, but now it’s just a historical building at a park near my apartment.
Okay, shirts/clothing seem to be all things cats. (Yeah, I’m a dog person.) This one is all things general wildlife. It’s so awesome with all of its colors and animals, not just cats. I want it.
Yes! Winterize all the summer clothes! I would be too sad if I had to neglect all of my sleeveless things for 6 months of the year.
Omaha is #5 on the list – so I guess I can keep complaining, too. At least today is 5 (feels like 5) instead of 5 (feels like -40).
haha that shirt is SO great! i love it. totally a conversation starter.

Love the outfit, love the photos, love that house. You make me kind of wish I lived somewhere cold enough to wear boots with fur.
