Are you dying over how perfectly this dress goes with the wall art in the background? Because I am. I wore this dress a couple weeks ago for a weeknight date (I actually wore the same thing to work that day, but I had the cardigan buttoned up, and no belt or clutch). We had dinner at Sabbatical in Broad Ripple, which was fantastic, and on the way back to the car we saw this wall on the side of a diner or something. So no, I didn’t actually drink a pink milkshake or whatever that’s supposed to be, but if I had, this would have been a great dress for it, no?
Unfortunately, if I ever do wear this dress again – for pink drinking or anything else – it won’t have these cute pleats in it. Why? Well because sometimes you don’t know how to eat nachos like a lady and you spill on yourself and then you wash your dress because the tag says you can wash and dry it but it doesn’t tell you that if you do wash and dry it then you will wash out all the pleats but only half way so it really just looks like a very evenly wrinkled dress. This is why we can’t have nice things.

Sad about your pretty dress! Maybe your dry cleaner can help steam or press back in pleats?
And that is why I’m terrified to wash most everything I own.
I love your entire outfit, but especially that tricky way you belted your belt! Thanks for the inspiration, that looks too cute! Also, my and the washing machine/dryer do not get along so I feel your pain. At least you didn’t shrink it to a size 4 Toddler!
Take it to your dry cleaner. They can iron the pleats back in!
I would honestly try steaming it if you have the access…always brings my pleats back strong!

Ah the dreaded pleats, I know thee well! I’ve lost them at the dry cleaners, too, so don’t feel bad. Still a lovely print so I’m sure it will look pretty regardless!
beautiful dress! love the playful patterns and colors 🙂
