I’m not proud to admit this, but I bought this shirt while slightly under the influence of alcohol. After having a drink after work, I went to Nordstrom with a plan to only buying foundation, but I somehow ended up on the second floor at a sale rack, where I found this shirt. I was OK to drive but not OK to shop, apparently.
I had every intention of returning the shirt because I really didn’t need it, but every time I physically touched this thing to take it out of my closet, I couldn’t bring myself to let it go because it is just so soft. Come to think of it, maybe I was just under the influence of fabric, not alcohol, when I got this. Now the tags are off and there’s no turning back!

P.S. Don’t forget that “Pin to Real Life” starts tomorrow! Check out yesterday’s post for details on what you’ll see on the blog next week and how to join in yourself.
That’s funny….DUI shopping! But I think this top is worth it esp when mixed with all the striped skirt!

I like it. It looks like a silk shirt and a soft shell over it.
This look is perfection – love the white sunglasses to top it all off!
This is such an adorable look, especially with the stripes!

I think the top was a great purchase no matter what influence you were under! I love how you styled it, the whole look has a very cool mod feel.
