A few weeks back, eShakti offered to let me pick out something from their new spring collection. I was super excited since I loved my first eShakti dress. I picked out the springiest of the spring frocks and I couldn’t wait for the right weather and the right occasion to wear it. Over the weekend, I had to accept the fact that I was not going to have the right weather for awhile. But I did have the right occasion (date night!) to wear the dress. So I layered up and proved to that bitch Mother Nature that I will wear my spring dress now! I think I finally won this round. That’s Sarah-1, Mother Nature-2. I’m not giving up on this fight.

I love this dress! I hadn’t heard of eshakti until the cute dresses started popping up all over the blogosphere. I’m coveting some of their full skirts and I’m loving the feminine silhouettes. This dress looks really cute on you and I like how you winterized it with the sweater and tights.
I love eshakti and love how you styled this dress! It’s been too cold to get around to wearing my spring dresses yet, but if it warms up a tiny bit I’m totally going to copy this and wear one with tights!
Pretty! I looked at that dress too and loved the print. You tell winter who’s boss. I’m sure you’ll scare it off soon.
Ugghhh I hope so but it’s not budging yet.
Love the dress. Love the coat. Love the whole look. I’m going to post it on my Facebook wall. Keep up the good fight!
I always feel awkward wearing black tights with spring-y dresses but you do it so well here!
Thanks! I don’t think it ALWAYS works, but sometimes it does.
This is super, colourful yet it doesn’t look inappropriate given the weather. I wear the same dresses all year round and just winterise them in this way, unless they are the wrong fabric it’s perfectly do-able 🙂
Glad you approve, Louise! 🙂
I saw that dress online and loved it but it looks even prettier on you! The print is just so pretty. And I freakin’ adore that yellow bag!
