So the Take One, Pass it On challenge was definitely a challenge today. Review yesterday’s outfit if you please. The pieces of my outfit were: black sweater, mint pants, pink pumps, and a bow bracelet. I had already worn the sweater twice, so that was ruled out. I wasn’t going to repeat the shoes because I was going to class, and I’m not about to walk up and down stairs with a heavy backpack in 3″ heels. I’m just not. And the bracelet seemed like cheating.
As you can see, I was left with one option. I was skeptical of wearing these semi-dressy pants to school, so I dressed it down the best way I knew: with a sweatshirt.
And that’s why I think the Take One challenge is so great. I really like this outfit and I never would have put it together without this crazy remix thing. (Do you hear that? …It’s the sound of me tooting my own horn.)
Sweatshirt: Forever 21 (similar here and here)
Pants: Ann Taylor
Shoes: Target (similar)
Ring: Ann Taylor (similar)
Okay so….I still love what you came up with!!!
Looks awesome and that is a perfect gray sweatshirt – LOVE! But, tell me bracelets can be passed on, right?!! If not, I’ve already cheated! Ack!
I think jewelry should count! some days certain items aren’t practical or appropriate. This is where jewelry should come in! But it’s your challenge.

I love the gray and mint together – very cute. I hope you don’t take this the wrong way…but I’m not sure I love the shape of those pants on you though….I feel like if the ankle is that wide, they should be a couple of inches longer. I love the pattern SO much though, I’d be tempted to see if they could be tailored into more of a cigarette silhouette.
It could also be that I’m just not quite used to the ankle pant esthetic, so feel free to tell me to jump off a cliff. 😉 The shoulder detail on the sweatshirt is super cute too – really keeps it from being plain old sweater and makes it stylish.

Cliff jumping unnecessary!!! Thanks for the feedback…I like how these pants look, although I could like them even better if the leg were slimmer. I might think about having them taken in at the bottom at some point in the future. Thanks for your feedback!
These pants are so fun–I love the pattern and how they feel a bit “fancy”!
I admire you for doing this challenge! I’m too scared…haha. I think those pants are really cute…love the pattern!
