Yes, I am well aware that pictures look prettier when you take them outside in natural light. But guess what? The wind chills yesterday were below zero and that’s just not happening. I bundled up the best I could so I could stay alive long enough until the heat in my car kicked in.
Let me give you a rundown of just how many articles of clothing I was wearing:
- Fleece-lined leggings
- Dress
- Jacket
- Scarf
- Coat
- Hat
- Gloves
- Fuzzy socks
- Boots
- Belt & bracelets (a girl’s gotta accessorize)
I kind of felt like Joey in that episode ofย Friendsย when he puts on all of Chandler’s clothes. You know what I’m talking about.
Leggings: Pitaya
Dress: H&M
Jacket: Zara
Scarf:(similar)
Coat: Kenneth Cole Reaction (similar)
Hat: handmade gift (similar)
Boots: Matisse (I love these that are on sale!)
Belt: Madewell (similar)
Bracelets: Forever 21
Great hair day! I need a How to on scarf tying and different ways to wear a belt! How do you cross your belts that way?
I didn’t do anything fancy here, just buckled it like normal then tucked the end behind so it didn’t flop around. And the scarf is an infinity scarf just doubled over. There are all kinds of scarf and belt tying guides around these days…you might try just googling or searching Pinterest. Hope this helps!
Your blog is so lovely, I’m a new follower from Florence!!! A big kiss
Welcome! Thanks for following.
I have that exact same coat! Got it last year in order to survive the arctic temps for my trip to Punxsutawney, PA (yes, for Groundhog Day). It’s such a warm coat! ๐
Groundhog Day?! Sweet!
BUT at least you look cute and not like an overstuffed snow man!
Love this outfit!!!! I just moved to Boston and am struggling with figuring out how to be warm AND dressed up. This is perfect!
Thanks! Now the only problem is that I don’t have any MORE arctic outfits planned, so I’m going to have to start brainstorming… ๐
It’s freezing here too! Like to the point where I dread going outside. I’m having trouble getting outfit pictures outside as well. I really like this outfit, especially the mix of the cheetah print and the stripes

What a cute cat!
So cold! I thinks it’s freezing when it’s 40 degrees out! At least your outfit is fab!

I know, I always laugh at your complaints about the “cold” weather ๐ Don’t ever move to the Midwest!
Your outfit is awesome, this may sound crazy, but I’ve never thought of mixing stripes and leopard print, eva. So thank you for the inspiration, I’m totally implementing this into my next striped ensemble. I have never heard of FLEECE lined leggings, where have they been all my life? The cold in the Midwest is like torture, and I’d much rather look as cute as you do bundled up rather than the Michelin Man. Thank you so much for visiting my blog, I really hope that you’ll be back ๐

Just found your blog through your comment on Kendi’s. I am loving your classic style. I’d love to do a button swap with you if you are interested. Check out my blog. Method Clothe
Ugh, I totally feel you on the cold! I take pictures for all of 45 seconds and then right back into my car I go. It’ll be spring soon enough ๐ On the plus side, your hair looks really pretty in these pictures!
