Don’t be fooled: the fact that Tommy Hilfiger made this sweater does not mean the “H” signifies Tommy’s surname. Nope, it stands for Harrell, which is why I wear it with pride.
You see, I’ve never understood the interest in sporting brand name merch for the sake of wearing the name. Don’t get me wrong…I’m certain Louis Vuitton makes excellent quality bags. But if I had the money to buy an LV bag, it certainly wouldn’t be the monogram bag. Unless your name is Lilac Von Trapp, I don’t know why you’d want to have a bunch of LV’s on your arm all the time. (P.S. Lilac Von Trapp is an awesome name…I might name my child Lilac Von Trapp. And by child, I mean my next cat. And you better believe the feline Lilac Von Trapp will have an LV carrier case. Biggest diva at the vet’s office. But I digress…)
The point is: How lucky was I to find a whole table full of sweaters made just for me? Harrell pride.

That’s hilarious! People buy the monogrammed items so everyone else knows how much they spent. The whole keeping up with the Jones’/”What’s the point in spending $4000 on a bag if no one knows you did it?” thing. I can’t say anything bad though because I do own quite a few monogrammed bags (Coach, Dooney and Burke, and one tiny Louis Vuitton) but I will say the quality is just the best. The leather only gets better over time.
I love your pink sweater! I’d wear it too, just because it’s pink, and I don’t even have an H for a first or last name! I love it with the blue paid, unexpected but so bright and cute.
love this sweater is perfect for you & it’s a great color!!! plus a blue checked shirt & a pair of leopard loafers never hurt a single outfit we’ve seen 🙂

I love that yellow trench! And I’m right with you, I’ve always hated signature prints. No matter how nice the brand is, their logo is not what I’m looking to carry around.
