This is one of those outfits where I put it on, looked at myself in the mirror, and just wasn’t sure if I liked it. But as usual, I had negative five minutes to change, so I went with it. Why yes, I totally meant to wear a crazy, brightly colored print skirt that might be an inch or two too short for the office, and a ruffly shirt, and a mismatching blazer, and red shoes. What?! I mean…yes, I am confident in my decision.
But seriously, feel free to give me your honest opinions. Does something seem off to you? Like maybe there’s too much going on?
Oh, and thanks to those of you who participated in my “Everything Old is New Again” outfit challenge! I will post links to those lovely ladies later tonight. If anyone else posts their outfit today, please let me know and I’ll be sure to include you.
Love ya style.. we should network hun!
I like the mix in this outfit.
i would replace/leave out black and white jacket, it really overlaps with the skirt and hurts an eye a bit, add some other color there, or no blazer at all, apart frotm thet, reli gd!RRx
Thanks for your feedback! I was thinking the same thing…I love all these pieces individually, especially the blazer, but I think another blazer or maybe cardigan would have looked better and not been so distracting.
I think you pulled it off ….somehow! It is a crazy mix of pieces but my first glance was good. I do think the skirt might be a little too short for the office though. Looks good standing but is reallllyyyy short when you sat down. I think the bright shoes pull the bold mix together!
Thanks Diana! Luckily when I’m sitting down at work, my legs are hidden under a desk so nobody knows how much leg I’m showing! 🙂
I think it is the ruffles and the bold print. Maybe a plain top. The blazer is great though.
Thanks for the input, Rebecca!
I think it’s the jacket…the skirt and top look great!
Love the jacket, the skirt is totally adorable too – I think you styled this outfit perfectly!

I LOVE those shoes! And they go really well with the skirt!
I think it’s the black blazer that’s a bit off. (Though it’s a REALLY cute blazer!)
I bet a cardigan that picked up any color from the skirt would be great. I’d love to see a photo of this same outfit sans-blazer (or with other jacket/sweaters).
And you frowned at my florals?
Hey, I only frowned at one person having 7 different Hawaiian print items in her closet! 🙂
I think you wore it well! You went away from the norm, and that’s what style is, your perspective. Thank you for reminding me I have this skirt,I will wear it next week!
