Yesterday as part of my internship, I got to walk over to the federal courthouse to meet the bankruptcy court’s staff attorney. I’m kind of a big deal. So since I was meeting important people, I had to make like Barney Stinson and suit up.
At one point shortly after I started law school, it crossed my mind that I might be faced with a life of wearing suits and I wasn’t too excited about it. But I gotta say…now that I have a suit, I kind of like it. I still don’t think I would like to wear one every day, but once in a while it’s OK. It makes me feel powerful. In fact, I was mistaken for an attorney yesterday. SUCCESS!

Cute suit, Pants! Quick question – did you have it altered or buy it from the store as is? I can never find suits that fit me and wondered if you had a similar problem (but also a solution)!
This one happened to fit right off the rack. I had to buy a smaller size in the jacket than in the PANTS. I believe both were petite sizes though, which is why the shoulders are nice and narrow and the pants aren’t too long. You should try Ann Taylor for your next suit!
