About a week ago, it was a chilly but sunny Sunday, and we heard our local humane society was having a “baby shower.” You know, like a donations drive but with a cute little theme and games and stuff. So we bought a few things from the registry (including a heating pad, which they use to cuddle kittens who don’t have moms…how effing cute and sad is that???) and dropped them off. In case you think we’re just kind and charitable people, you should know that we mostly wanted an excuse to pet a bunch of cats. Which we most definitely did.
