I bought these boots weeks ago because I wanted something cute that I could wear in snowy weather, even to work. As it turns out, I have the power to control the weather through my purchases. (Have people actually been calling me a witch all this time?! Now it makes sense!) Once I bought the boots, it was like Indiana forgot what winter is supposed to look like. Finally, last week they called for a couple inches of snow, so I got to don my new sturdy footwear. As you can see, the snow was a bit tardy, but it did eventually come down later that day, so I was well protected on the long walk between my garage and my front door. Thank goodness I was prepared. Next time I want it to snow, I’ll try buying a bikini.

Wait – I thought it was me! I bought a new down coat in November, and have barely been able to wear it (and it is the coziest thing ever!!!). I thought I caused climate change!
