When: Saturday // Weather: sunny and chilly // Real life: brunch, drinks, and Target shopping
I didn’t really have a good weekend. I had a great weekend. It was all thanks to two friends who came to visit for the first time in a very long time even though they only live an hour and a half away. (Are you listening, ladies? This kind of friend neglect will no longer be tolerated.) We took them out for a boozy brunch, then to Hotel Tango distillery for more booze, then to Target because they live in a city with no Target (tragic, I know). You know how they say it’s more fun to go to Disney World with kids because you get to see the magic through their eyes? That’s what it was like going to Target with people who have been deprived. I may have gone home with a new bag, shoes, and earrings. What can I say? I got swept up in the magic.
