I had zero intentions of taking photos of what I wore on Saturday morning/afternoon, but Kristin said she likes “casual Sarah” so I figured I should be true to my blog name and show you what I wear when I’m not trying so hard. I had to finish up some work for the end of the month over the weekend, but to make it still feel like a day off, Kristin and I set up shop at a cool new place in our neighborhood called Open Society. It has a hip but not too hip vibe, and they have some really unique breakfast goodies (I recommend the basil berry muffin) and coffee drinks with spices and other fancy things, but it doesn’t cost any more than Starbucks. I haven’t been for dinner/drinks yet, but I’ve heard good things!

Anyway, the point is that I did get dressed to leave the house but I didn’t put much thought into my “look” and this is what happened. Not too bad, right? Jeans and a t-shirt are a little more interesting when you have fun sneakers and a bright bag on hand. Maybe I should try not trying more often. Except when I try to not try, then I’m still trying and we’re right back to where we started.

    1. Bad news bears. These exact jeans never even existed. I bought them a couple years ago but they were sorta straight leg boyfriend jeans that were way too long. I got them hemmed and tapered because I wanted cropped ankle jeans that were a little more relaxed on top. Maybe that’s what you should do too! If you can find ones that you like from the knees up, you can always fix the bottom!
