I promise this will not turn in to a political blog, but I can’t post this outfit without mentioning that this is what I was wearing when I met the future governor of Indiana. I mean, I don’t want to be too cocky and jinx it, but our current governor has made enough embarrassingly backwards decisions that I’m confident enough of my fellow Hoosiers are (forgive the cliché movie quote…) mad as hell and not going to take it anymore.

I attended a fundraiser for John Gregg last week and “reinvested” half of my state tax refund in his campaign. Honestly, I would support anyone running against Pence this fall, but now that I’ve met Gregg and heard him speak about his plans, I’m pretty pumped to spread the word about how awesome he is. So to my local readers: I encourage you to check out his website and consider donating!

But if you’re not politically inclined, that’s fine too. You can always just dress like America (which I did totally unintentionally, I swear).

Sweater // Skirt (on sale) // Bag // similar Shoes // similar Bracelets

  1. love love love this outfit. also, living in Texas, I’m very well-versed in trying to vote dummies out of office and giving all of my money to the people I hope can do it. I obvi don’t know much about John Gregg’s politics, but I dig his mustache, so I hope he wins!
