This polka dot dress is so perfectly retro, it’s just begging me to wear it solo. But I wore it on April 25th, and as every Miss Congeniality fan knows, April 25th is the perfect date because all you need is a light jacket. So I wore a light jacket. Plus, you know I can’t resist a cool juxtaposition of something girly and something casual and/or androgynous.
Speaking of perfect dates, I wore this outfit to a pre-work Monday morning breakfast date. After 11 years together, we’ve learned to expand the time frames and activities that count as dates! I actually don’t know why we weren’t having breakfast dates from the beginning. I look way younger and fresher at the beginning of the day before my skin and hair have developed a layer of oil.
