You know how you look back on the trendy things you used to wear and cringe? (Check out this slideshow for a good laugh if you were in college in the early-mid 2000s.) I’m 89% sure that cropped flare (or “kick crop”) jeans are going to be one of those cringe-worthy trends in a few years. I really had no intention of trying them out because they seemed like one of those tall-girls-only kind of styles. Then for whatever reason I decided to give these a try at Loft and they were so comfortable and fit so well everywhere else that I decided to go for it. You only live once, right? (I refuse to abbreviate it – I’m not that trendy.)
I’m not going to try to convince you that you have to try the latest denim trend. But if you like cropped flare jeans and you’re just holding back because you think they only look good on models, don’t sell yourself short (pun intended). I think they look really cute even with flats, and it’s nice to have a change from skinny jeans once in a while! By the way, Loft also carries the kick crop style in dress pants and trouser jeans.
