Why don’t I have more mauve in my life? It’s always existed, and yet I never noticed it. This sweater also comes in some of my standby colors — gray, navy, mint, white — but I already have sweaters in all of those colors. That left me with the mauve, and when I went to try it on, I was all like, “Oh hey mauve, where’d you come from?!” And then mauve was all like, “Um, I’ve been here. Where have you been, blondie?” To make it up to mauve, right after I purchased this sweater I went and found a new lipstick to match. Now we’re getting along just fine.
