(I cuffed these jeans inside out – like temporary hemming – so that they hit just above the top of the boots. This makes my legs look as long as possible without the sometimes awkward bunching that happens when you tuck jeans into boots. More ankle boots tips here.)
In case you’ve ever been thisclose to purchasing a sweater that looks like the lovechild of Barbie and a Muppet and wondered “how many times will I wear this?” …the answer might just be: more than you think. Scroll down for the many outfit incarnations of this sweater – with a t-shirt, with stripes, with a chambray dress, and more!
Speaking of things I wear a lot, I’ve been wearing ankle boots even more this year than I have in years past. And you know what that means…I can easily rationalize buying more pairs! I didn’t have any navy boots, and I love the mixed materials of these. I also just ordered some fabulous olive green booties from Ann Taylor so be on the lookout for their debut. There’s a decent chance I’ll wear them with this sweater.

I don’t know what it is, but you look stunning in these pictures!
I have a giant blue sweater (it’s more of a straight up Grover) that I end up wearing with everything. I think big and cozy matches most outfits.
Great look. Basic, simple and comfortable.
I love your blog too.
