I know these look like regular old skinny pants, but they’re actually sateen skinny pants and they are SO. SOFT. If you were here, I would tell you to touch them, and then when you did, you would be all “oh my god they are SO. SOFT.” And then you wouldn’t be able to stop touching them and things would get awkward and I would be all “let’s just be friends.” And as your friend, I would suggest you pair olive with hot pink because it’s a fun and unexpected color combo. And as my friend who really just wants to touch my pants again, you would say thanks. Good talk.

  1. I would love to know how you style your new short hair! It looks gorg!! I just chopped off my hair to a similar length but have only mastered the “blow dry straight” method…harrumph.

    1. My stylist would be SO PROUD that you’re asking my advice because I just got mine cut a week ago and made her teach me how to do this. I used a 1 1/4″ curling iron (or it might be 1 1/2″…anyway, it’s a bigger one). I’m still getting the hang of it but the key to making loose, casual waves instead of ringlets is to hold the iron vertically and DON’T curl all the way to the end. The first 3 or so curls on either side of your face should be curled away from your face. The rest of the way around, switch directions back and forth – my stylist explained that this makes the curls bounce off each other instead of getting stuck together. After curling, smoosh (technical term) it all up and spray a texturizing product on it. That’s the hardest part for me because I’m a perfectionist. But if you don’t mess it up a little, it’s impossible to get that tousled look. Hope this helps! Good luck 🙂
