I’m closing out this week of blogging with a couple of outfits I wore to work this week that I just barely had enough time and sunlight to photograph in front of my garage. Classy, I know. It’s a quantity over quality day, for sure.

Speaking of quantity over quality, I’m putting together this post Thursday night as I spend 3 hours watching all the Shonda Rhimes shows on ABC. I absolutely love Scandal. And I hate Grey’s Anatomy and How to Get Away with Murder. Why do I watch all 3 shows when I only like 1 of them? I have no idea. But it’s what I do every week. I think I have too much fun making fun of Grey’s and HTGAWM so I don’t want to miss them. I have to hear all the ridiculous soundtrack choices  and all the horribly cheesy lines in Grey’s. And I have to make sure Viola Davis is breaking at least 2 rules of Professional Responsibility per episode and being the worst law professor ever.

But between those 2 heaping piles of lame is Scandal, Thursday’s saving grace. Hopefully you can find the Scandal (figuratively speaking) in this post and make all our time worthwhile. I’m thinking the leopard print shoes and the burgundy bag are the Olivia Popes of these outfits.

  1. When Grey’s was first on, I thought they did a good job with the music choices.. non-mainstream, fitting and appropriate choices, generally during scenes with minimal dialogue. Now it’s like “Why are we listening to an acoustic rendition of ‘Fancy’ while two people are yelling at each other?”

  2. Those leopard shoes are definitely Olivia Pope-worthy. I also love the red bag with the suede top—the two-tones together are really elegant.

    1. Thanks Brittney! I’m in love with this bag. I would carry it more often if it were bigger. I have to “edit” my purse contents when I use this little guy!
