“S” is a great letter. Without it, my name would be Arah, and that’s just a little too New Age for me. I mean, it took me a lot of effort just to get over wearing sneakers with a real outfit instead of with workout clothes.

That said, it bugs me when people add an “s” where it’s not supposed to be. Here’s a timely (pun intended) example: Daylight Saving Time. How did everyone start saying “savings”? There’s no “s” on the end, people. If you didn’t know, now you do. Spread the word. Or “Nordstrom’s.” Not a place. It’s just Nordstrom.

I’ve been told I can be overly judgmental. But I like to think I’m just making the world a more grammatically correct place.
