Whenever I have something fun to do after work on a Friday evening, I try to come up with an all-purpose outfit that’s equal parts “I’m a super important lawyer” and “I’m a super cool urban 20-something.” I’m pretty sure calling myself “a super cool urban 20-something” demonstrates just how not super cool I am, but I want my outfit to convey it nonetheless.
Last Friday I went to my friend’s art show so my challenge was to mix professional with artsy. Button-up collared shirt: professional. Faux leather jacket: artsy. Black, white, and olive color scheme: professional. Drapey genie pants: artsy. How do I look? Super cool, right? I thought so.

I love the green pants!! I have a black pair, but to throw in a color like that with that style and still make it professional – I love it!!
I am newly obsessed with drapey pants. I just ordered a gray pair, but I should probably get basic black eventually too.
