I’ve been working a temp job this week – data entry, scanning and shredding documents, that kind of thing. I started this temp job the day after I became an officially licensed attorney. If there’s some kind of attorney pride that’s supposed to make me feel “above” simple office work, well…I don’t have it. Instead I have pride in the fact that I always pay my bills on time, and if I want to continue doing that, I gotta make a little money. So that’s what I’m doing.
As an added bonus, a job (temporary or not) gives me an excuse to get out of bed and put on real clothes such as these. Keep your fingers crossed that soon I’ll have a more permanent reason to get dressed!
