The Perks of a Statement Trench

I love a good statement jacket or trench. It’s a good spring layer, and it makes getting dressed easy. I can throw on jeans and a t-shirt and let the trench do the talking. Because sometimes I just don’t have that much to say. Like right now for example.

  1. This is so sweet! I love it. Throw it on and you don’t need anything else (though you prob SHOULD wear something else lol) to make you stand out!

  2. Very cute. I was at the fabric store the other week and a woman at the cutting table ahead of me had coated tablecloth material that was sky blue background with clusters of bright red cherries. Mr. Muse was standing next to me and I nudged him and said, “THAT material would make an awesome raincoat!” If only I could sew better…

    1. Yeah, I wish I could sew! I took a sewing class once many years ago, but I don’t remember anything. Plus I don’t have a sewing machine, which might be helpful.

  3. Cute trench, it really is the statement piece for this casual outfit. Love the pop of red from your lipstick and flats

  4. This trench was love at first sight for me but I’m happy I waited for sale because I knew I wouldn’t get to wear it as often as I would like in ATL. Love it with your bits of red!
