Sarah's Real Life

If you’ve read my “about” page, you know that I am alllll about keepin’ it real for you here at Sarah’s Real Life. You know that every outfit I show you here is something I actually wore. But I don’t know if I’ve mentioned that on week days I normally take my photos in the evening (when the light is best) after I get home for the day. That means my clothes have been scrunched up after sitting in cars and at desks all day.

Usually I don’t look too bad, but you might notice in the photos above that I’m doing my best to block your view of my knees and my crotchal region. Well, these are new pants and it turns out the fabric gets pretty easily stretched out and wrinkled. If I give you the full frontal, it looks like this:

Kind of a bummer, but it’s not like I can’t still wear them. They’re pretty comfortable (especially since they stretched out), and the cropped length is perfect. The color comes across yellowish in these pictures, but they’re actually more lime green. They’re just so bright and happy!

And…back to awesome:

Wrinkly pants purchased recently at United Colors of Benetton

Love the coloured denim, and the shoes are awesome. I recently bought 2 pairs of brightly coloured denim pants as well and I hate how after an hour they start stretching out in certain places.

  2. EVERYTHING is lovely…..the cardigan, shoes, pants!!!!

  3. I know what you mean about doing photos after a long day at work. I feel like a big wrinkled mess half the time. The pants and shoes paired together are awesome! Heather

    • When I’m shopping, I like to assume that how the clothes look hanging in the store is probably the best they’re ever going to look. Some things are ALREADY wrinkly, so I just pass on those because I know it will only get worse. Sometimes, pants can fool you though :)

Haha! I do my shoots in the evenings as well and sometimes I have even taken something off, ironed it, and then put it back on to take my pictures…so I understand! I love these pants though, the color is fabulous! I love the color paired with the blue shoes, so pretty

  5. I love your style! Wrinkly pants and all. Thanks for keeping it real too tho’. Gotta ask, where did you get those shoes? They’re awesome! T.

The b&W was very funny although not as flattering as you other pretty pics1 but i got your humour, I needed a good laugh. I hate when pants stretch and get all weird in the privates area too!
